Luxury Savannahs Families

Odin was born on July 4, 2023, and flew home from Las Vegas, Nevada to Poulsbo, Washington.

From the beginning, his personality was loving, outgoing, and incredibly intelligent.

Odin has the energy, curiosity, and personality expected of a high-percentage Savannah.

He loves fetch, truck rides, exploring, talking for attention, playing in water, and sleeping on my shoulder.

Owning an HP F1 Savannah requires commitment, consistency, and understanding of the breed.

That commitment has made every moment worthwhile.

Odin is the smartest animal, cat or dog, I have ever owned.

Without being taught, he has learned how to use the toilet, how to say “Hi,” how to open doors, fetch, walking on command, coming when called, and how to use the refrigerator water dispenser.

Watching him learn simply by observing has been unlike anything I've ever experienced.

Odin rides in the truck.

He greets the coffee shop employees.

He walks beside me, sleeps on my shoulder, and always wants to be involved.

He behaves more like a highly trained working dog than a traditional house cat.

One of the most important lessons I've learned is that owning a hybrid Savannah requires preparation.

Understanding their behavior, maintaining routines, socialization, nail trimming, veterinary care, and consistent interaction all contribute to a successful relationship.

These cats deserve owners willing to invest time into understanding them.

Odin has remained healthy throughout his life.

Routine examinations, bloodwork, SNAP testing, FELV testing, and fecal testing have all been normal.

Finding a veterinarian experienced with hybrid cats has made a real difference. My veterinarian even collaborates with professionals connected to Point Defiance Zoo regarding hybrid care.

This is my own experience as Odin's owner rather than medical advice.

We've had Cartier for over a year now, and he has been an incredible addition to our family. Not only is he absolutely stunning with his unique features, but his personality has remained just like a puppy.

He's learned to be incredibly gentle with our toddler, loves sleeping in bed with us every night, and is always ready to play, although usually around 3:00 a.m.

Watching him bond with our other cats has been just as special. One of them loves to run and wrestle, so they're constantly chasing each other around the house.

Our other cat is much more reserved, and Cartier somehow learned that she prefers quiet companionship. Instead of trying to play, he'll simply curl up beside her and keep her company.

The best advice I can give anyone considering a Savannah is that it's absolutely worth the wait and the investment to purchase from an experienced, reputable breeder.

Cartier turns heads everywhere he goes because of his exotic appearance, but what surprises people most is how incredibly friendly and affectionate he is.

We truly wouldn't trade him for the world.

We love Falcon and could not imagine our lives without him.

Falcon is our third F1 Savannah cat, so we were already familiar with the breed, and he has exceeded every expectation.

He has become much more than a pet. He truly is part of our family.

Falcon enjoys a home where he has plenty of room to explore, an enclosed outdoor catio, and a carefully planned daily routine.

He loves spending time outside watching birds, squirrels, and other wildlife from the safety of his catio while also keeping an eye on us whenever we're on the deck.

His days are filled with playtime, walks, family activities, and plenty of opportunities to simply be with us.

One of our favorite things about Falcon is how affectionate he is.

He is truly the best lap cat we've ever had.

When he's tired, you'll usually find him sleeping beside us in bed or cuddled up on the couch with his best friend, Summer, another one of our cats.

Every day when we come home from work, we're greeted by nonstop meows demanding attention, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We love Falcon's playful personality.

Watching him get the zoomies around the house is always entertaining.

Like any pet, there are occasional challenges, but we've never experienced aggression from Falcon.

We've found that plenty of attention, structured playtime, and a carefully balanced diet with consistent mealtimes have helped him thrive.

Having owned multiple Savannah cats, we've also never experienced aggression toward our family from any of them.

Zilla instantly became part of the family from day one. He truly is one of a kind. From his protective nature to his loving and funny personality, Zilla has made himself an unforgettable part of our family.

Zilla follows commands like no, stay, and sit. His favorite words are MOM and MILK. He is famous on TikTok for saying 'milk' in his video.

Anytime I might not fully feel great, Zilla will come check on me and does not leave my side until he is reassured I'm okay. Loyalty at its finest.

What surprised me about Zilla is how much people love his color and size. Mr. Zilla is famous around our area, and he truly knows he is different.

He ensures that his schedule is the same. From the time his mom leaves until she returns, he is always near that front door.

After an extensive search, Annabelle joined her family from Luxury Savannahs in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2023. Although her family lived all the way across the country in New Jersey, the adoption process was seamless. Every question, travel detail, and logistical step was handled with excellent communication and care, making the long-distance adoption experience effortless.

Of course, Annabelle had a few opinions of her own about air travel.

After what her family jokingly describes as a close encounter with the "no-fly list," she safely arrived on the East Coast. While understandably a little shaken from the journey, plenty of affection, playtime, and delicious treats quickly helped her settle into her new home.

Before long, she had bonded not only with her humans but also with the family's resident Savannah and Goldendoodle.

The three quickly became inseparable partners in crime. Whether it was cardboard boxes, paper bags, cat toys, or dog toys, very little escaped their playful adventures. Their home soon became filled with energy, laughter, and just enough mischief to keep life entertaining.

One of Annabelle's most unexpected passions turned out to be cooking.

She proudly appointed herself the household's unofficial sous chef, carefully supervising every meal from beginning to end. Every ingredient deserves inspection, every recipe requires approval, and she has even developed a surprisingly adventurous palate, including a love for Indian food. Whenever dinner is being prepared, Annabelle insists on being involved and never misses the opportunity to sample the finished product.

Despite her striking wild appearance and endless enthusiasm for play, Annabelle has also revealed an incredibly affectionate side.

She has become a true lap cat who loves rainy afternoons curled up with her family and quiet evenings stretched across the bed. Anyone who dares wiggle their toes beneath the blankets quickly discovers that bedtime is simply another opportunity for play.

Today, Annabelle is impossible to imagine life without.

Her family describes her as the missing piece that completed their home, a loyal, interactive companion whose intelligence, affection, and playful personality have brought joy to every member of the family.

To start off with my experience, I'd have to mention the professionalism from Luxury Savannahs. Updates were frequent, and reminders about courier scheduling and final payments were timely.

Muffin has basically become the head of the household. She runs things.

My favorite thing is seeing how she found her place in a multi-cat household and how nurturing she is to all the foster kittens.

She knows how to adjust from fragile 1-week-old kittens in the incubator to roughhousing with the 6 to 8-week-old kittens.

I've had three F2s, and I've always heard how wild they are, but from my experience they're not. They have some behavioral quirks but aren't feral like I was expecting.

This reflects Tyler's personal experience with his own Savannahs rather than a universal guarantee about the F2 generation.

Honestly, Savannah cats are a lifestyle, and I'd probably recommend a Maine Coon for most people who aren't looking to adjust their lives around one. That being said, if your lifestyle allows, they are lovely animals.

We welcomed Max and Stella into our family in September 2022.

As littermates, they have grown together into wonderful companions who have become an important part of our daily lives.

Max and Stella are both in excellent physical and mental health and have wonderfully friendly personalities.

They are affectionate not only with us but also with our family, friends, and guests who visit our home.

Max currently weighs approximately 27 pounds.

Stella currently weighs approximately 17 pounds.

Together they truly live up to the description: “Gentle Giants.”

Despite their impressive size, they remain affectionate, social, and easygoing.

Like many cats, they can be a little nervous when visiting the veterinarian.

However, they have never shown hostility or aggression toward their veterinarian or the veterinary staff.

Their calm temperament has been one of the qualities we appreciate most.

One thing we have appreciated most is the continued support we've received from Luxury Savannahs.

Whenever we've had questions regarding Max or Stella's care, guidance has always been available.

Knowing that support continues long after bringing our kittens home has been invaluable.

In 2022, we welcomed our first Luxury Savannahs kitten, an F2 Savannah named Raj.

Raj quickly became an incredible member of our family with his loving personality and friendly temperament.

His gentle nature made him an instant favorite, whether he was cuddling with us, following family members throughout the house, or greeting visitors with curiosity and affection.

One of the things we appreciated most was how naturally he fit into our family, especially around our children and the children of friends who visited our home.

Our experience with Raj was so positive that we returned to Luxury Savannahs again in the fall of 2023.

That's when we welcomed our F1 Savannah, Leo.

Leo immediately became another beloved member of the family.

His personality is incredibly affectionate, always looking for interaction, whether through head rubs, playing fetch, or simply spending time with us.

Leo's favorite activity is joining the kids during bath time.

His playful personality, curiosity, and constant desire to be involved in family activities make him unforgettable.

He always wants to be where the family is.

Although Raj and Leo each have their own unique personalities, they both share the qualities that first attracted us to Savannah cats.

Loyal. Affectionate. Friendly. Social.

Living with both of them has only strengthened our appreciation for the breed.

One of the greatest compliments we can give is that we chose Luxury Savannahs again.

After our experience with Raj, we never questioned where we would get our next Savannah.

The continued support, knowledge, and care made the decision easy.

Oreo has been a great part of my family for about a year. He is lovable and affectionate but requires a lot of attention and play.

He currently listens half the time when misbehaving, still a kitten in his teenage phase, but can easily be redirected to toys to be entertained.

Oreo goes outdoors with Alvaro and has been taken camping. From neighborhood walks to creeks and tall grass, Oreo explores the world on a harness alongside his family.

Oreo is lovable and playful, but when his prey drive kicks in from seeing lizards or squirrels on his walks, his Serval side kicks in and he goes into full hunting mode.

So extra attention is needed when going outdoors.

My advice to a potential cat parent looking to adopt an F1: they may not need as much time and attention as a dog, but definitely require significantly more time and attention than a typical cat.

Overall, if one has the time and patience, an F1 Savannah is like nothing else.

We reserved our two kittens in November of 2020 and welcomed them home on February 1, 2021.

From the very beginning, communication was exceptional.

We received frequent updates, photos, and videos showing our kittens growing, allowing us to feel connected long before they came home.

Every question we had was answered thoroughly, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring.

One thing that immediately stood out when we brought them home was how comfortable they were.

Unlike many kittens we've had in the past, they weren't fearful or timid.

Instead, they immediately accepted affection, enjoyed being touched, and settled into our home with remarkable confidence.

To us, that reflected the tremendous amount of love, handling, and care they had received before ever leaving the cattery.

Today, they are still the most wonderful and loving cats we've ever had.

We are both continually amazed by how affectionate they are toward people.

They happily welcome visitors into our home and remain friendly with family and friends alike.

Just as importantly, they have remained healthy from the very beginning.

I've owned eight cats throughout my life.

These two have been among the sweetest, most affectionate companions I've ever experienced.

That says everything.
